The Cherry Tree Trullo was constructed in 1903 and has 8 cones (conical rooftops). It is situated at the end of a lane, 15 minutes drive from Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello. The Cherry Tree Trullo has a private pool, is set in the middle of a 15,000 square metre (3.5 acres) cherry orchard and is completely surrounded by a dry stone wall. Besides the 300 cherry trees, there are 77 olive trees, 20 almonds and a walnut. Completely renovated in May 2007, the trullo provides superb accommodation for up to 5 people. Roman steps lead into the private 5 x 10 m pool which has a shallow end of 1.00 m and a deep end of 2.20 m. There is a large terrace with sun beds and an outside shower beside the pool. There is a large original stone terrace in front of the trullo and a shaded dining area under a pergola which has a barbeque and patio furniture.
